Old school

I was quite amazed by how Kamun's film pictures turned out that I decided I should get myself one to play around with. Then I remembered that a long time ago, my aunt got me a water-proof Vivitar camera when I was still learning swimming, with the water-proof casing and stuff.

So I went and look for it, and I found TWO cameras, both Vivitars! One the water proof one, and the other, this!

My grandfather got this like seriously eons ago at this "Sports for Life" event thing that the government tries to encourage Singaporeans to exercise more by, what else, giving out free gifts. My grandparents both got one each, so my grandfather gave me his. It's been sooo long, which explains the yellow stain on the camera.

And it's perfect! Because it has the panorama feature that I was looking for. So I am going to get film and try this out.

Surprise! It's your birthday today.

Here is another "Happy birthday!... But it is not my birthday!" moment.

Like people at work have been surprising a random colleage with a cake and birthday song, even though it wasn't that person's birthday. I got my "not my birthday" celebration a few months back, then my manager got it, and today was this guy, Eric.

It is true that people are more happy to receive a cake on their non-birthday than on their real birthday.

17th July: Kawai and Aireen

Probably the best and happiest wedding I have ever attended. An entire day of merry making, no random relative that the couple met only once when they were young. Just people who mattered the most.

TODAY:
Coco in her usual stare-at-eil sitting position.

Bak Gut Teh

Herald ye!

This is not a photograph, but a printscreen to mark the start of my Project 365, inspired by Ralf Bissdolf. He did it on his iphone, but since I don't encourage all things Apple, here is my daily photo log.
